RadioDaddy.com (Continued Further)

"DigitalMedia stirred up more controversy this evening, posting a thread on how he'd requested the Podcast request forum to be removed. It resulted in name-calling, and the thread being locked, but DigitalMedia isn't banned. I find this hilariously hypocritical."

"DigitalMedia has VoicePro status, but I don't think that should make anyone immune from banning if they act as idiotic as he has.

Besides, I don't even know who he's done VO's for. How he became a VP I don't know, I've not seen any of his voicing work at all.

He mentioned that he USED TO BE an Admin on the site, and then requested that his account be deleted because he didn't like the way people acted on the site. Now he's back as a VoicePro instead of an Admin, but seems to still have the same issues.

The guy is just messed."

"Simple put, Radiodaddy is a poorly run site in which the owner gives "power" to those that abuse it and treat those that are new with disrespect and do not give them the time of day. They say they are a FREE site but yet, are always begging for memberships. They have insulted the podcasting community saying that most podcasters are nothing but kids that do not have a clue.

The new owner of RD spends little or no time on the site and has left the day to day operations to the former owner who in turn has stated he is sick and tired of running a FREE voice over site and couldnt wait to dump it on someone else.

As for some of the admins, they abuse their power because they can and are on some sort of wild ego trip. The more they abuse their members the more people will continue to abandon them."

First two quotes from an unnamed RadioDaddy member, and the third from a former member of RadioDaddy. Seriously, guys. We need to do something about this lame excuse for an online "community".

Update: Google Analytics, where would I be without you? It turns out that after I started my RadioDaddy article, RadioDaddy.com became the #3 source of traffic to my site, with 23 visitors each viewing both of the articles. Keep it up, RadioBabies!
